Hello World,

 

I find myself tasked with creating a blog for class, but truth be told I have always wanted to create one. I thought it would be fun and refreshing to share thoughts and ideas on things one might come across in day to day life. With Covid-19 here to stay a bit the stories and feelings from people are in my similar lately and every time I have conversations with people we all are having the same struggles and frustrations. This was just a quick bleep to get things going but will definitely be adding soon.

Hello, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCH33TgK8Mw   Here is a quick response on my opinion of this person being fired over a comment he made about not shooting people you disagree with. My initial reaction was very surprised especially since he was saying it is wrong to shoot people you disagree with. I have heard of many different cases with people being fired for what they have posted on social media. From all different jobs this is something that has impacted so many people’s lives. Essentially the employer fired the individual over his views and post on a social media outlet about his thoughts on a public issue. The firing was legal because he did not work for a government agency which has the freedom of speech protection and in the private sector they were in their rights to fire at will if they deemed his behavior not conducive to their policies.
