  Hello, This post is in regards to the added dependency on AI technology which can be helpful but it also depends on the data set being used for the algorithm. If the information is skewed such as disproportionately high to certain groups such as Latinos or Black individuals then the technology does not help the system but can undermine it.  Hello,  This post is in regards to new technology in the field of Criminal Justice. The Smart Belt is a new invention to provide improved security for the officers. It provides an accurate portrayal of the officer’s location, movement, can alert dispatch and call for back up when needed.  Hello, This post is in regards to new technology in the field of my studies. I am focused and majoring in Criminal Justice, Behavioral Studies and want to eventually go into Forensic Psychology. This post is on facial recognition and the ethical issues that might arise from this form of technology. First, it appears via this article that the technology might be more bias to certain individuals and does not have the diversity needed to not be bias to certain individuals. Second, lies in the question with the privacy issues and who has access to these pictures and how safe that actually is. Hello, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCH33TgK8Mw   Here is a quick response on my opinion of this person being fired over a comment he made about not shooting people you disagree with. My initial reaction was very surprised especially since he was saying it is wrong to shoot people you disagree with. I have heard of many different cases with people being fired for what they have posted on social media. From all different jobs this is something that has impacted so many people’s lives. Essentially the employer fired the individual over his views and post on a social media outlet about his thoughts on a public issue. The firing was legal because he did not work for a government agency which has the freedom of speech protection and in the private sector they were in their rights to fire at will if they deemed his behavior not conducive to their policies.  Hello World,   I find myself tasked with creating a blog for class, but truth be told I have always wanted to create one.
